Today is Moose Hide Campaign Day – an Indigenous-led grassroots movement to engage men and boys in ending violence towards women and children. The campaign is grounded in Indigenous ceremony and traditional ways of learning and healing. A cornerstone of the Moose Hide Campaign is the moose hide pin, which when worn, signifies your commitment to honour, respect and protect the women and children in your life and speak out against gender-based violence and domestic violence. At Graham, we’re committed to supporting initiatives that uplift and empower Indigenous communities and advocate for change. #MooseHideCampaign #GrahamCares

Steps for Life is an annual event held by Threads of Life to raise awareness and funds for families who have been devastated by a workplace tragedy. Every year in Canada, almost 1,000 workers are killed on the job or die as a result of a workplace-related illness or injury – every one of those families has a story about their loved one. Last week Steps for Life wrapped up across Canada and our employees stepped forward to support those families and recognize an important cause. Here are some of our Calgary employees taking part in the walk! At Graham, the health and safety of our people and the protection of our communities and environment is a top priority. Through our Actively Caring Culture, we uphold our deep ongoing commitment to health and safety across our business. #GrahamCares #StepsForLife

Red Dress Day in Canada is a national event that takes place on May 5th each year to raise awareness about missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls. It serves as a reminder of the thousands of Indigenous women who have been victims of violence and aims to bring attention to the systemic issues that perpetuate this tragedy. It serves as a poignant and meaningful reminder of the need to address the issues of violence and discrimination against Indigenous women and girls, and to work towards creating a more equitable and just society for all. In addition to wearing red dresses which symbolizes the spirits of those who have been lost and serves as a powerful visual representation of the ongoing injustices faced by Indigenous communities, many communities also hold events, ceremonies and marches to honour the lives of the missing and murdered women and girls. These gatherings provide an opportunity for people to come together, share their stories and advocate for justice and change. To mark this day, please join us in wearing something red to express your solidarity or alternatively find one of the many candlelight vigils, round dances or events in your area. #RedDressDay #MMIW
